Mistakes doom Browns

The Browns are their own worst enemies this preseason.

Three fumbles Saturday led to three Lions touchdowns in a 35-27 loss in Ford Field. Defensive penalties were a problem, too.

The Browns fumbled five times last week, losing three, in a 19-17 loss to the Rams.

The fumbleitis can be cured with enough practice. The penalties and be diminished with enough discipline.

What the loss on the artificial turf showed more than anything is the Browns are a slow football team. Speed cannot be coached.

You cannot expect to win games if you fumble five times. Jeromes fumble on Saturday cost them the game. Hopefully they can get their stuff together and hold on to the football.

I heard Jerome Harrison is going to be at the Captains game on Saturday to sign autographs. Maybe I'll stop up there and give him a hard time.

As an OTR truck driver and a super smart mind at that when it comes to the Brownies, Never bet against them or for them. You need an atitude to win. Coach Paul Brown made sure they had one. There hasn't been a coach since that can teach these players that. Fumble 5 times? Really? They've been fumbling for years that I know of.

A real team is like the Packers. The whole town supports them. They have to because they pay a city tax just to have them. Nothing like driving on I94 in WI on a Packer game day. Backed up for miles. Cleveland Browns ever do that? Ha! Ha! Yeah Right!
